Nancy Mowery - Assistant Director
Joined the Barb's Care-A-Lot staff in October 2019. Nancy has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood from St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York. She has worked in the field for 27 years working as a lead teacher for Pre-K and working summer camps. Nancy worked previously for Barb for 6 years and is now back and ready for action! She has been married for 30 years, has one daughter and a boxer named Marley. Nancy loves to read and enjoys the water. She is also a HUGE Buffalo Bill's fan!

Bethany Reilly - PreK & School Age
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in March 2010. Bethany has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Education from SUNY Cortland and a Master's Degree in Special Education with a concentration in ABA & Autism from Mercyhurst University. She is also a lifeguard and CPR certified. Bethany's other experience includes babysitting, student teaching in Syracuse, New York and Erie School District as well as being the afterschool teacher for Carpe Diem Academy at McKinley Elementary. She loves painting, gardening, hiking, traveling to new places and trying new crafts!
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in 2017 left and came back in October of 2019. Lilly is currently working to obtain her CDA. She began working in childcare in 2017. Lilly enjoys spending free time with her daughter.
Jenn Hutchison - Floater
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in October 2017. Jenn has Preschool, Toddler and Infant CDAs and currently working towards her Associate's Degree. She has been working with children in a daycare setting since 2008. Jenn is a volunteer firefighter/EMT with the Fairfield Hose Company and a mom to three beautiful boys!
Alexis Ramirez - Older Toddler
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in July 2019. Alexis studied early childhood education at Erie County Technical School. She has been working with children for four years. Alexis' favorite animal is an elephant. She also loves to draw, dance and spend time with her family and friends!
Coriona Majchrzak - Older Toddler
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in July 2019. Coriona studied early childhood education at Erie County Technical School. She has been helping with children at her church and working with children at Erie Technical School for 3 years. Coriona loves to play soccer, write and read!
Diane Rodland - Younger Toddler
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in October 2019. Diane has worked in many children programs including Sunday School, Erie City Mission, Cub Scouts, and babysitting. She also worked as a nurse in pediatric care for 35 years at Saint Vincent Health Care and Hamot Hospital. Diane enjoys camping, dogs, videogames, being outside, nature and kids!
Trina Woods- Younger Toddler
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in March 2020. Trina is a mother and an awesome nana! She also loves reading, playing with her granddaughter and going to dirt track racing!
Jolene Vargo - Infant
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in September 2013. Jolene has her CDA. She loves working and watching the infant's grow at Barb's, reading, traveling and experience new places and cultures!
Stacy Whitney - Infant
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in August 2015. Stacy has her CDA and has been working with children for over 20 years. She loves reading, being outdoors, going for rides and her number one thing to do is spend time with her grandchildren!
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in January 2018. Christiane is currently obtaining her CDA from Edinboro University. She has previously owned and operated Lil' Itty Bitty Daycare in Florida, Alaska and Texas. Christiane loves to read, quilt and drinking coffee! She also secretly hates baking!
Joined the staff at Barb's Care-A-Lot in January 2020. Bridgett has worked at Erie Homes for children and Adults. She also likes to draw and spend time with family!
